Author Casey Jones Releases New Book, Believes it is the Best Piece of Literature She’s Ever Written
June 5, 2014 – City, State – World-renowned author Casey Jones released her third full-length novel this Tuesday, June 3, 2014.
This new book, entitled, The Best Book Ever, tells the story of a Harvard professor who is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. It shares her family’s struggle to accept her diagnosis and shows the changes they each made to their lives in order to spend as much time with their ailing mother as possible.
“This book hits very close to home for me,” said Jones. “I had a family member, with whom I had a very close relationship who suffered from this incurable disease. It was important for me to share some of my own personal emotions and experiences in order to help shed light on the struggles that both individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and their families endure. I truly believe this book is the best thing I have ever written.”
Jones’ new book has already been touted by critics and is expected to be well received by the general public. One notoriously harsh critic, Amanda Lewis from Harper’s Bazaar, stated that the book was the most necessary heart-wrenching work she’s ever read.
“This novel tells a realistically sad story. It shares a family’s honest tale to find acceptance in an unfair and devastating occurrence,” said Lewis. “It’s a story that brings awareness to a disease that is affecting more and more Americans by the day.”
Best Book Ever is now available for purchase on Amazon.com in hard cover, paper back and Kindle versions. It can also be purchased at Barnes & Noble.
